Teak is naturally durable and resistant to the elements, making it an excellent outdoor material. Over time, unfinished teak will develop a beautiful silver-gray patina. To prevent mildew clean your furniture periodically with mild bleach solution. Please be aware that teak releases natural oils that may stain cushions. Hairline cracks and split may develop over time and are considered natural to the wood.
